QUESTION

Hi there Dr Lorraine,

I was having sex with my boyfriend two nights ago when a problem arose that we have not experienced together before. I had already orgasmed a few times and we were still having sex', but he was unable to reach climax. This is definitely not usual as he normally comes every time we have sex, but whatever we tried, he just could not reach orgasm. He was erect and definitely aroused, but whatever I tried to do, going down on him, hand job, slow and fast thrusting with me on top, even him from behind, nothing worked. He was very frustrated and kept apologising to me because he felt that he was offending me somehow. He admitted that he had recently started to experience this even when he was masturbating. We did have sex again the next morning and he was able to orgasm, but I think he still insecure about this now. I would like some advice as to how we can approach this problem if it happens again.
