Seven days in the U.K... Flights and accommodation are sorted. What should I budget for spending?

So a bunch of my ‘rich’ friends just returned from a three week vacation all over Europe.  Among their itinerary was a trip to Paris, Barcelona, Prague, Amsterdam and – my favourite – London. 

I’m practically green with envy… and it’s got me contemplating the idea.

But, while I wouldn't be able to afford to go haywire, I want to at least have a comfortable trip.

Luckily, if - or should I say when - I go, flights (thanks to my savings!) and accommodation (thanks to my friends!) are sorted.

It’s just the spending I still have to consider. And plan for. So I’ve come up with a list of questions that I desperately need answered if my trip is ever to become a reality… Maybe you can help out?

•    How much cash do I need for approximately one week? Remember, a girl’s gotta eat, drink... and shop!

•    When is the best time to go?

•    What are the must-sees, must-dos and must-tries?
