QUESTION

At McCarrun Airport I was informed that I could not take plastic bags on the airplane as hand luggage. The plastic bags contained a PS3 and the attachments that go with it (one attachment was a plastic gun and a mask). I had to go and buy a bag and a lock and put all the items into the bag. When I arrived in South Africa, that bag containing the PS3, gun and mask did not arrive with my other luggage. Now the Airline does not want to compensate me for the lost items. They say that they do not cover electronic equipment - KNOWING FULL WELL THAT THEIR EMPLOYEES STEAL THOSE ITEMS. What can I do now? The lost items were a gift for my son and he is so disappointed.
