Hi Irene, Sounds like you had a lot of work to do, but I'm sure the end result will be well worth it. A good, long lasting paint to use on exteriors is the Plascon Micatex range that fills hairline cracks and tends to , but it's not as washable as Plascon Wall & All. You need to decide which paint would be best. As far as colour is concerned, consider the style of your house and select a colour that would work well. A dark colour, for example, wouldn't look great on a cottage-style home, whereas it would look great on a contemporary home. What colour are the roof tiles - do you need to match this colour? What colours are the homes around you - you don't want to stick out like a sore thumb (or maybe you do). I can't tell you what specific colour to choose, but you can pop into your local Builders Warehouse and take a look at colour swatches to decide which colour YOU like best.
