I've been asked to plan and host my sister's third babyshower and with her two previous ones setting the bar really high, I've got my work cut out for me.
So obviously I've been searching high and low for cute and creative ways to decorate the party table. I found the perfect idea when I came across this super fun diy project on upcyclethat.com.
Not only is it a perfect table decoration, but your guests can have some fun with it, too!
Plus, you can re-use and change it up as often as you wish – depending on your theme. If you’re planning a baby shower, go for a pastel coloured paint, and fill the jars with marshmallows or pink or blue sweets. At Christmas time opt for metallic colours, and stuff the jars with gingerbread men and Christmas cookies. Valentine’s Day? Think red and pink, with chocolate hearts and candies. I love clever and versatile ideas like this, don't you?
What you need:
Candlesticks
Empty glass jars
Sweets/candies/chocolates/cookies
To make:
Prime and paint your candle sticks and jar lids
Soak jars and peel off labels
Glue jars to candle sticks
Fill with candy.
