- tinned pears
2 tins of pear quarters or pear halves, cut in half
3/4 cup rice flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 extra large free range eggs
half cup of melted butter/margarine
1 tsp baking powder
3 tbs cocoa powder
Empty tins of pears without juice into square casserole dish.
Beat eggs & sugar.
Add flour, baking powder, melted margarine, cocoa powder and mix together.
Pour mixture over pears and bake for 40-45 minutes in preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius. Serve hot with vanilla ice-cream. - Bernice Berson
