More tips
1 Fat remover
Remove fat from soups and stews by dropping ice cubes into the pot. As you stir, the fat will cling to the cubes. Throw away the cubes before they melt.
2 Less calories
To cut your intake of calories, use prune purée or apple sauce in place of butter in brownies, muffins, and cakes.
3 Low-fat cooking
To omit fat or oils from your cooking, you must begin the cooking process with a very hot pot, pan or griller (if your equipment is hot, the food won't stick). If your recipe calls for seasonings, add these after the cooking process has begun as they're the first to cause food to stick.
4 Watch those calories
To reduce your intake of calories when making sauces or soups, use artifical cream or whip instead of real cream or milk.
