Every year the Riebeek Valley celebrates its Shiraz heritage with a showcase of Shiraz and Arts. This year will be no different as Riebeek Cellars puts on their first solo Riebeek Cellars Shiraz and Art Festival.
Fondly known as "Shiraz Country", the Riebeek Valley is merely 1 hour's drive from Cape Town and it is the perfect opportunity to escape the city's hustle and bustle and experience quaint country life.
This year the festival will take on an outdoor "Mediterranean Market" theme. Those visiting the festival will have the opportunity to see some of the best up and coming local artist talents, as well as being able to sample some of the top Shiraz offerings from Riebeek Cellars, along with the finest fresh produce from the valley and surrounds.
Continuing with the Mediterranean Market focus Riebeek Cellars will be releasing a once-off Limited Edition Shiraz. Only 1000 Litres of the Limited Edition Shiraz has been produced and festival goers are invited to purchase wine decanters from Riebeek Cellars and to tap their very own Shiraz. This Limited Edition Shiraz is available only for the Riebeek Cellars Shiraz and Art Festival at R15.00 per litre.

- Tapping your own Limited Release Riebeek Cellars Shiraz
- Art exhibition and competition
- Taste the latest release Shiraz vintages from Riebeek Cellars
- Pair Shiraz and Chocolate
- Blend and bottle your own Shiraz based blend from Riebeek Cellars
- Fresh pasta demonstrations
- Buy and sample fresh produce from the valley and surrounds – including olives, olive oils and other olive products, cheeses, cured meats, homemade breads, chocolates, stone ground flour, farm butter, farm fresh vegetables and herbs, pestos and sauces as well as fresh pasta.
Guests are welcome to enjoy their bounty at designated picnic and seating areas.
