The 2008 Winemakers' Choice Diamond Awards Gala dinner will be held on 17 September 2008, at the Stellenbosch Town Hall at 19h00, in the heart of the winelands.
The organisers openly welcome the public and avid wine drinkers, to show their support for the wine industry and be the first to appreciate the best wines South Africa has to offer. With limited availability, guests are encouraged to book now to spend the evening rubbing shoulders with the best in the wine industry; and in addition, stand a chance to win a 0.47 Carat diamond.
The Winemakers' Choice Diamond Awards is an annual challenge for wines which are "judged" by the winemakers and not "graded", and is the only awards system in South Africa to operate under these guidelines.
This year, two exceptional winemakers will walk away with the inaugural Diamond Winemaker of the Year award for their white and red respectively; the highest accolade the industry has to offer.

Tickets are priced at R295 each; including a 4 course meal by Cape Cuisine Ambassador, Sophia Lindop and award winning wine.
