Victoria's Secret has a history of dodgy airbrushing – whether it be missing arms, weird waists or ridiculously skinny thighs – and they are still it at with their latest Photoshop faux pas. This time, controversially skinny South African model, Candice Swanepoel is the target of the airbrushing blunder, albeit on an unexpected body part.
The never-ending quest to erase any visible signs of their models being human, i.e. having wrinkles, armpits or pores, has led to an inspired choice for their overzealous photo editors – a protruding left shoulder.
Personally, I was more shocked with her weight loss than I am with her Wonder Woman shoulder. I mean what could they do to trump a walking skeleton or armless model?!
