Tsonga Tslops hit the US

 

South African exclusive hand-made slops are making their debut in the US.

Tslops? That’s right; these are Tsonga hand-made slops that have now become a hit amongst US buyers. The first bulk shipment is expected to hit U.S. shelves in February 2013. Talk about feeling proudly South African!

Tsonga Tslops' a brand of Corridor shoes, was created to help uplift the women of the rural villages South Africa.

The company has succeeded in creating over 700 jobs in the country, contributing towards community development in those areas.

According to iFashion.co.za 144 pairs of the handcrafted sandals are made daily at each mini-factory of six, and are priced from R192.

Countries like Australia, New Zealand, France and Canada have already imported the brands unique sandals. Way to go,Tsonga!
