We're not talking about drag queens here, folks. Apparently, normal guys wear stilettos. But will the trend catch on?
It looks like everything about fashion is going androgynous this year:
· A male model is making waves on women's wear catwalks and recently did an entire Marilyn Monroe photoshoot.
· A transsexual model snagged a hot swimsuit campaign.
· Male celebs are going onstage wearing women's clothes.
· Even Kanye West was spotted in a woman's top.
And now we've got normal, straight men walking around in high heels – at least that's what the New York Times is saying. Their reporter spoke to three men who think wearing heels makes them feel more powerful. One guy even owns 30 pairs of high heels.
Why would guys do this?
“It’s a power thing. You’re higher than everybody else. You make more sound. You walk a different way. It makes your legs look better,” Mr. Alexander told NY Times.
Maybe I'm the only person who finds this freaky because I only have, like, four pairs of heels and I am more likely to slip into a comfy pair of pumps anyways. But the thought of my boyfriend borrowing my stilettos for a night out? Well, let's just say he'd be an ex pretty soon…

No. Heels are strictly for women.
