Meet the world's oldest supermodel… Grey hair has never been this sexy. Don't you agree?
From as early as 25 years old, the average young model can sense the end of their career looming, so it's amazing that the world's oldest supermodel is still in such high demand. Carmen Dell'Orefice, who graced the Alberta Ferretti catwalk this year, turned 80 years old this week.
Carmen's big break came in 1946 when she was on the cover of Vogue at the tender age of 15. Her career has spanned 66 years and is still going strong, beautifully accessorised with her old age and grey hair.
Thank heavens there's an exception to the overairbrushed, permanently hair dyed, frozen faced Barbie dolls who have dominated the catwalks.
Hurrah! *Slow clap*
I think Carmen should…
