QUESTION
I frequently travel nationally for business on either one day or two day trips and need some advise on an easy to wear comfortable wardrobe. I'm looking for a ideas that would look great ready to wear out of an overnight bag and which will work with flat or low heel shoes.
ANSWER
Hi Nina.
This is quite a loaded question that I won't be able to answer in full on this platform, but here are a few general tips:
Select one basic colour to work with. This may include black, taupe, chocolate brown, silver grey etc.
Ensure that your wardrobe consists of mix and match components so that you can get maximum wear from the items you take with you.
Avoid just packing one outfit per day. If you dirty a blouse, you want to be sure to have another one to change into.
Dresses are wonderful as they are easy to pack and easy to wear.
Buy a small travel steam iron. They are fantastic as they take the pain out of creaseless clothing.
Decant your skin and beauty products into smaller bottles. Woolworths has great options available for these.
Avoid taking more than two pairs of shoes. Wear one for traveling, but always have a spare pair. You want to be prepared if a heel breaks.
All things considered, always dress for your body shape, as this will always look great if you get that right.
