QUESTION
I have the worst haircut imaginable and all I want is for it to be long again.
I’ve been told I should try horse shampoo or sleeping with my head off the bed (so that the blood rushes to my scalp), but I’m not sure if these work… or if they’re even safe???
Should I try any of the above, or can you recommend a product – or something – that will speed up the growth process?
ANSWER
Hi Meagan,
In my experience two things really work for helping your hair to grow faster.
The first one is a vitamin called Biotin which is available at most health stores. Biotin falls into the Vitamin B category and it aids in the absorption of proteins and glucose which promotes faster hair growth.
The second thing that helps, believe it or not, is exercise! Exercise gets your blood flowing to your head, feeding the scalp with oxygen. This way of getting blood to your head is much more comfortable that sleeping upside-down with your head of the mattress.
