Adele Ross
Adele’s love for hair started at a very young age particularly when she was six years old, she decide a fringe would suit her best for her school photo. She has been in the hair dressing trade for roughly 10 years, working as a professional stylist and a make-up artist.
Both sectors of her career have been a joy ride simply because of all the experience she has gained.
Adele has been privileged to study at Carlton Hair Academy where they allowed her to work both as a stylist as well as student lecturer while she was earning her hours. Being able to work alongside veteran hair stylists such as David Gilson as well as the owner of Carlton hair, Jean Meyer, are some of the things she will always say encouraged her to continue striving for better in her own work.
Choosing to add make-up to her work was an easy decision purely because of her overall love for fashion.
For Adele, there's nothing better than the adrenalin rush she gets from being back stage at a fashion show. Cape Town Fashion Week and the Design Indaba remain highlights and she’s always so excited when a client asks for their services at shows or for product launches.
Adele has a great passion for her work and the end results are always so much more gratifying when she knows that the client is happy with what the salon has done. There's nothing she won't try because helping clients achieve more than they think is possible for themselves, is what she feels is her place in this industry. That's the secret that keeps her striving for better every day.
