Q.

Make-up for 60 yrs

I am 60 years old but according to friends and fam, look 15yrs younger. Have dark brown hair and green eyes. What colour eye makeup to use that is appropriate to my age?

Eye-shadows should be as matte as possible because pearlised or shimmery eyeshadows illuminate fine lines around the eyes soft to medium shades of neutral brown, but avoid flat, bland browns.

Peachy colours often compliment green eyes too. Use dark chocolate brown eyeliner, smudging to soften any hard lines around the eyes and avoid black eyeliner.

However, black mascara is most suitable! Now with natural eyes and natural lips, you can look ‘washed out’, so definitely go with brighter colours on the lips with this eye make-up suggestion!
