QUESTION
Hi
I have a dry skin which I never had problems with when I was young. I am 35 years old. I went through my teen years with no skin problem at all but for the last four months my skin (forehead) has become extremely dry and very rough and I have developed pimples on the sides of my face just above my eyes. I have tried over-the-counter products (Zinplex). It worked for a while but the pimples are back and and I am also left with very dark scars. Please what can I use to get rid of the scars as well?
ANSWER
To lighten the scars use a good face exfoliator to remove the dry, dead skin cells and encourage cell renewal. It is also important to use a sunblock on the face to protect the skin from the harmful sun and prevent the scars from getting darker. I recommend you follow a well balanced diet and drink ar least 8 glasses of water a day to improve your skin's texture and for a clearer complexion.
