Local actress Jay Anstey proves that you don’t need to spend a fortune on designer brands to get the look.

The star - who’s nominated as Favourite Newcomer in the YOU Spectacular 2012 Awards - was spotted alongside Shashi Naidoo at a recent @AlwaysZA event and let me tell you, I was wholly struck by her real-life cool and calm persona which is (and I’m sure you will agree) a complete turnaround to what I’m used to from her role as Charlie in Isidingo.
But, I digress.

Jay, confirms what we’ve known forever: Style DOES NOT necessarily mean you have to splurge.

In the pic, she wears:

•    Skinny jeans from Mr Price;
•    Boyfriend blazer from Mr Price;
•    Tan ankle boots from Mr Price; and a
•    Red pashmina that she bought at a market overseas.
