Backchat: fantasy faux pas
Our readers share their thoughts on having fantasies... or rather, not having them...
Way too busy to bother
I have to make time in my busy mind for thinking of children (3) and nice husband (1) and moerse job (3).
I can't even begin to think how to access the creative side of my brain (if that is in fact the right place to start fantasizing), never mind how to actually construct a useful fantasy.
So I rather spend my time on actually having sex with my nice husband with, I believe, much better returns. Therefore, no, I am not at all part of the female fantasizing club.
And I don’t think it is a very big club judging by how my friends seem to not be spending time in that head space.
Have more sex. Don't apply too much thought to it.

The flipside of the coin
Sorry Sam, I seem to be the total opposite to you. I can write in detail what happens in my sexual fantasies. From what I was wearing, which piece of clothing was removed as well as the position I was in and the way it makes me feel.
The one thing I can’t do is describe how something looks.
Helps a lot that my man and I talk about our fantasies, what I'd like to do to him and have him do to me and vice versa. I am comfortable that I won't be laughed at or made to feel uneasy about what my fantasies are about.
The weird thing is that I am not the creative type even though I'm a Pisces but when it comes to fantasies I'm more creative that I ever thought I could be

Getting lost in the detail
I so relate. For me sexual fantasies have nothing to do with sex but more about being treated like a queen. And in recent years when insomnia hit I have built and designed my beach house and decorated it now need to win the lotto to implement.
Hope your brothel has a cigar room mine has with beautiful leather chairs and a library to die for. Didn’t think about the pool.
It's more like an upmarket guest house with perks for business people or maybe a gentlemen's club but why should the men have all the perks. Oh and it has the most wonderful dinning room.
Thanks for over sharing it's something I do all the time and you make me feel normal

Oh yes – I can relate!
I start the fantasy with this wild ideas lined up (like a writer with a few story lines).
And even before the 'nice' part starts, I've lost myself in the detail! And there I was thinking I'm the only stupid one! It's always like that – so I rather leave it, and therefore cannot remember when last I had a fantasy (I’m 34!)
