Institut Clarins opens in Johannesburg
On 1 March 2005, Clarins South Africa opened the very first Institut Clarins in Africa.
On 1 March 2005, Clarins South Africa became part of the global family, by opening the very first Institut Clarins, in Africa, situated at the Clarins South Africa Headquarters, 17A Scott Street, Waverley, Johannesburg.
Designed by an expert team of Clarins architects in Paris, this world class, state of the art institut boasts 7 rooms including a men's specific area and a "couple's room". In addition to this, full 'wet' facilities including a vichy shower room and spa bath.
When Jacques Courtin-Clarins opened his first Beauty Institute on the rue Tronchet in Paris in 1954, he understood long before anyone else, the effectiveness of a treatment method based on the beneficial properties of plants and essential oils on the skin, using 100% manual techniques
All treatments are based on the Clarins Touch. This unique and professional method involves over 80 intricate movements. Highly trained therapists use different rhythmic strokes to stimulate the lymphatic system and blood circulation, to maintain the health of the skin and restore the natural balance and energy of body and mind. For added convenience and pleasure, Institut Clarins, South Africa, will be open Monday to Thursday from 08h00 to 19h00, Friday and Saturday from 08h00 to 17h00 and Sunday from 09h00 to 14h00, thus allowing clients to unwind straight after work or at their leisure over the weekend.
