I am due to go on maternity leave in 2 months, and it has come to our attention that our company has intentions of retrenchments or relocating of jobs in our department. What is my position in this? Is the company entitled to pay me my salary during my maternity leave while I could possibly be retrenched during that time? If I get retrenched in the 2nd month of my maternity leave period, will I only get my 2 month's salary or do I have to be back at work for them to retrench or relocate me?
