The Canadian rockers are set to wed, but who knew they were even dating?!
The pair have done a great job of keeping their relationship under wraps. Chad, the front man for Nickleback, popped the question to Avril with a 14-carat diamond ring after six months of dating.
According to People magazine, the couple who share a whopping 10 year age difference, first hooked up in February when they co-wrote a song for Avril's next album.
A source close to the couple dished: "He makes her so happy. Both of their families could not be more excited."
While this will be Chad's first marriage, Avril’s about to walk down the aisle for the second time.
Gosh. I like happy endings. Hope this turns out to be one.
