Hello Keep the message unique en personal. "Dankie dat u/jy hierdie spesiale dag met ons deel" has been used a lot. Why don't you use a poem or lyrics from a favourite song in Afrikaans that has special meaning to the bride and groom? The best advice is to write from your heart! At our own wedding, my wife and I presented a personal hand-written note to each guest. The note also doubled as their name place card at the reception. It took us a while to write a message to each guest (just a sentence or two), but it was very special to make time before the wedding and really think about what each person you invited means to you! After the wedding, we sent out hand-written notes again to thank each guest for the gifts we received. "...For here are friends and warmth and laughter, here is shared happiness. Here is love." (Pamela Dugdale) Kind regards Aleit
