Dear Deepa Firstly a big congratulations on your marriage ! One of the nicest things about getting married, is the excuse to have a dream once in a lifetime holiday ! Before I answer you on if January is a good time to have an island honeymoon, I want to check that you are referring to one of our Indian Ocean Islands I presume ? Yes, Mauritius and Seychelles would be wonderful and are literally all year round destinations. Budget determines which island (Mauritius in general is a slightly more economical option to Seychelles) and of course how much you want to spend determines which resort on that island. There are certainly honeymoon value adds on offer at most of the resorts.
