My niece is getting married in Oct. the whole family is up in arms because they asked for cash and not gifts, as they are going to Europe for their honeymoon. To add insult to injury the bridal shower invatation also asked for money and not gifts as they apparetly have everything. Are we right in thinking it is tacky to ask for money
