We are getting married next year March. I have decided not to hire a co-ordinator and do it myself. I realise that I will need a decor company / person to assist me on the day with setting up and the day after to clear. I am concerned about not using the on site decor person, as I have heard she is more expensive than our vendors, but if I use an outside vendor, I worry that the venue wont be as accommodating or even obstructive?
The venue has also assigned a "co-ordinator" to me, whom is not very clued up or helpful to say the least, it is very frustrating going back and forth over 4 emails to realise what menu option I have selected! Again, I do not want to complain to the owner or manager in case they right me off and are completely unhelpful, obviously I would like the best guidance and assistance possible.
