2009 Overview

A sense of being at a crossroads began last year, and it intensifies in 2009. You need to make an important life decision. One road leads back to the conventional, familiar and well-known.

The other road winds away in the opposite direction, into new and intriguing places. The ideal solution is to integrate these two options, and thus find a way to gain the best of both worlds.

5 January Jupiter in Aquarius Jupiter has spent just over a year in Capricorn, but that is over now, and a new cycle begins. It is already fully described above, and will continue until September 2010.

Dates to watch 24 May to 24 December Jupiter and Neptune meet
These two planets come together roughly every fourteen years. Throughout history this combination seldom lasts for as long as it does this year. In partnership, these two planets create an expansion of spiritual influence.

This year brings fresh spiritual awakening for a large portion of the population. Many radical new thoughts and approaches to spirituality and its sources arise. Because Jupiter is one of the planets involved, and its your ruling planet, you have no option but to be part of it.

JUNE to OCTOBER

Jupiter retrograde at 27° Aquarius : A retrograde always means there's a backtracking happening.

A re-envisioning of the expanses of the spiritual environment, as you see it, is your main goal for these four months. If you're stuck in traditional beliefs this is going to be hard.
